Welcome to ”Imagine Tuscany”, the site of our Tuscan villa, Ca di Chio. We provide flexible accommodation for families or groups from 2 to 8 in the beautiful Chio valley in eastern Tuscany near the ancient Etruscan town of Castiglion Fiorentino.

We have planned the accommodation to be spacious and well appointed to add quality to your stay in Tuscany. Though the owners are on site, for maintenance purposes only, we will provide all assistance you require if called upon!

Ca di Chio was a farmhouse (podere) originally built in the 16th century by the Franciscan monks from the adjacent Monastery, who harvested olives, grew vines and tended their animals.

The old Monastery and farmhouse remain pretty much now as they were in the 1500s, but with some 19th century additions. The olive terraces and meadows are maintained in a traditional way. We are committed to respect tradition and continuity and to give others the opportunity to share it.

There are 2 houses available to rent, a single bed house (La Casina) and a large three bed house (Cas’allacima).

The local town, Castiglion Fiorentino, has a main-line railway station less than 10 minutes drive away. You can be in Rome in 2 hours, Florence in 1 hour, Arezzo in 10 minutes, Castiglione del Lago (Lake Trasimeno) in 10 minutes.

There is a lovely new 10 metre freshwater pool to enjoy, solar panel heated, with wonderful views all around.
